I responded to somebody's post about a problem they are having with a new toilet not flushing properly. The person said the drains had just been replaced. When I submitted my response, it wiped out their post. Will they please post again?
I made this silly computer promise to never do that again!! (LOL)

Believe it may have been mine. Anyway we had a contractor remodel downstairs bath completely. Replaced tub, shower, vanity, toilet. New toilet only problem left. Does not flush completely at times. Have had two other "plumbing contractors' repair toilet which included taking new toilet out, replacing wax ring, etc. I believe the first reno contractor did something to the venting system and we are unable to find out what. He is no longer among us. Bath upstairs directly about this bath works fine. Am wondering is there a limit as to how far vent pipe should be for the toilet? I appreciate any help, ideas, anything. WH
