We have found an old marble top wash stand with a wonderful high, victorian tiled back that we would like to use for a vanity in our downstairs half bath.
We plan on using one of those new sinks that actually looks like a washbowl. In order to do so, we will have to have a hole drilled through the marble for the drain. Has anyone had any experience doing this type of thing? Is it expensive to get marble drilled like this? And do I need to use some special type of extra wide gooseneck faucet.
I'd be intested to hear anybody's experiencies with this type of project.
