I have a corner fit fiberglass shower -glass/fiberglass walls. I want to tile the floor only of this as it is difficult to keep the floor clean and the caulking from mildewing and coming loose. It is 12 years old and the rest if fine. I did tile the bathroom so I can do tiling -thanks to you guys. That tile was to a cement floor this will be to fiberglass. Any suggestions?

Don't do it!! unless you plan on removing the fiberglass and building it out of mud.(mortar)Tiling over a fiberglass base is not a reccomended substrate.

Could I put this on top and screw it into the fiberglass bottom? Does anyone know if you could remove just the bottom of this shower as it screws into the glass sides. I would think I would have to cut out the bottom and don't know how hard this would be. It feels like there's sand or pebbles beneath it. Any suggestions.
