My Mitsubishi CS-2724R TV stopped working and I suspected it was due to a blown internal fuse. After taking the back off, the fuse was OK and I discovered a wire was unplugged from the circuit board mounted on the gun (?). After plugging in the wire, the TV powered-up and worked. After about 30 seconds the room circuit fuse blew and the TV has not worked since.

I just discovered another disconnected wire and cannot find where it goes. It's black, comes from the picture tube and says "DC" on it. Is this wire intended be unconnected intentionally or am I just missing where it should be plugged into?
