I bought a new sofa and chair (Broyhill). The wood trim is lighter that I would like it to be. Is there a way to make it darker. It is a polyurethane finish I think. Thanks for your help!

Perhaps a polyurethane product with a darker stain mixed in would do the trick. Minwax Polyshades is such a product.
