I have an very large mirror that needs to be framed, but because of the size I dont know where to begin, it is 42 inches by 60 inches. What do I need to support it, how do I hang it on the wall? and best way to make a frame.
Thanks

Sorry, not an answer, just have a simular problem. I bought some inch long things that screw in and you put a screw inside them. Think that will do the trick? Its quite a heavy big mirror to go above the fireplace.

Today on "This Small Space" the designer took a glass mirrored door and framed with regular mdf and I believe he secured the mirror to the frame using mirror hooks.
Also going to a local frame shop and purchasing the frame in the size of the mirror would add a finished look to it.
