I recently (2 weeks ago) took delivery of my new leather sofa cushions. I was thrilled as they are stunning .

However I am concerned, as every time we sit on the seats a stretched and wrinkled patch appears on the top of the seat  If left overnight the leather returns to normal but the same thing happens every time someone sits on the sofas. My relatives have leather sofas and they haven't had anything like this

The cushions are rotated regularly to even out wear but it hasn't helped. I'm afraid the seats are going to look really shabby very quickly, which is something I didn't expect.

Does anyone have any experience of this??? any ideas???

My apologies for the long post

Thanks in advance

The wrinkling could be due to the nature of the leather selected as well as the type of material used inside the cushion. Contact the manufacturer of your cushions. The stretching and wrinkling does not sound like it would be good for the leather, thus shortening the life expectancy of the cushions.

thanx for your reply :)

I have done and he agrees that it shouldn't be happening, but he's away until next monday (june 1st) so I have just got to wait. Its very strange as if the cushions are not used for 24hrs they look perfect again !!!???!!

Fingers crossed something will be done.
