Hi all,
We have a SONY surround sound receiver STRDE845 that is 2yrs old and was repaired twice under warranty. Its dead again and is 1 month out of warranty. Has anyone had any luck getting things fixed under warranty out side the warranty period since its been fixed twice already?

If it is just a month out , then contact Sony's customer relations dept. Do a nice whine job and I bet they'll help out. We see it all the time.

Thanks for the suggestion.
Do you have any leads on who/how to contact SONY. All I've been able to do is email back and forth with someone from their customer relations dept.
Here's the details:
The unit is an STRDE845 that is 2yrs 1mo old, originally purchased at Best Buy. It was repaired twice under warranty by Best Buy 1yr after it was purchased, then again a month later. Now a year later its dead again. SONY claims that Best Buy is not an authorized SONY repair center so they want nothing to do with it out of warranty although they'll be happy to look at it and give me an estimate. Best Buy only gaurantees their repairs for 90 days. Best Buy is hinting that its a "bum" unit from SONY, SONY is hinting that Best Buy botched the repair.
Does anyone have integrity anymore??
