I just painted my bathroom in this tropical theme... a nice orangy-yellow color on the wall, I painted an arched window over the bathtub (it's in a niche) that looks like there's a little bit of beach outside with the ocean and an island in the back and made hibiscus highlights on the wall.... very tropical. But I cannot decide what kind of floor would go with that... right now it's white linoleum tiles... and I hate it... but I don't have any money to replace it... any ideas??

How about a nice throw rug in a aqua color? Then the white could look like beach?

Hi,

There are some options less expensive than change all the floor:

1 - You can replace just some pieces of the floor, making some color combination with the paint colors. Some tan - orange perhaps?

2 - There are floor paints, specially used with these floors, so you can change the entire color of the floor. You can look for these paints at Home Depot, Lowes or other hardware store. They are very easy to use. I am imagining a sand color

Let us know about the results
