Does anyone have any suggestions for:
1. Grade door needs cleaning on white plastic trim around glass in garage? This walk-thru door has been installed for 10 yrs and don't think that area has been cleaned. I was able to clean and paint the remainder of the door, but that trim encircling/surrounding the glass is filthy. I tried traditional cleaners, goof off, paint thinner with no success.
2. Bath door has build up of hair care product on it. This door is solid pine with stain and polyurethane finish. I tried scrubbing, goof off, paint thinner, lacquer thinner-it just turned it white!! (Maybe a blow torch-ha ha!)
3. Kitchen laminate countertop is black. The surface is alittle dull and has many small surface scratches. I'd like to brighten/deepen the color and get some shine on it.
Any ideas would be appreciated!!!
Thank You!!

1. If the plastic was never painted, it will turn an ugly yellow. Wash it with your favorite cleaner, prime with Zinsser 123, then paint.
2. I hope the white went away. Hair spray is just a form of glue. I suspect that it hardens substantially with time and repeated applications. If twelvepole in the cleaning forum does not have solution, you may have to strip this door and start anew.
3. Do you mean the coutertop is the black color it is supposed to be? The dull finish is likely a result of wear and tear. There may be a brightening and shining product on the market to improve the appearance of the top. It probably is just worn out and needs replacement.
Hope this helps.
