I am currently building a house and considering using manufactured stone for a faux fireplace in the family room. The fireplace will be inside but on an exterior wall. Considering using Owens Corning - Cultured Stone- Dry Stack Ledgestone - or possibly a similar product from a small comp. that makes their own stone. Are there any problems that I should be aware of? Longevity? or things that I should be making sure that they are doing should I proceed. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.
