My Rca Home Theater Vcr is acting up after a house-wide power failure after a storm. Here's what's going on: After turning on the vcr power, the tape eject mechanism continually runs. I tried manually loading a tape and then plugging the vcr to the power outlet. The tape ejected and the display read "Bye", which it is supposed to do when powering off, but after about 3 seconds the display read eject and the channel indicator read "L1", and the eject mechanism starts its never ending running.
