Hello,

I have a wall to the side of the stairwell which is half finished in length. Means the wall is not finished along the end of the stairwell.

This is the side opposite to the hand rail.

There is not sufficient room to install studs. The gap is probably like a inch and a half.

How can I fnish that portion os the wall.

Well, we've got the stairs.

We've got the 1 1/2" gap.

So WHAT is on the other side of that 1 1/2" gap ?

And WHAT do you want to "finish" it with ?
