I have a JVC VHSC GR-AXM270U camcorder.
My problem is that lately after I insert a cassette the power goes on then shuts off when I want to play or record. I have used 2 diffferent fully charged batteries, then bought a CR2025 3 volt battery for the camera which the manual suggested. I even tried the adapter plugging in to a wall outlet & still happens. I'm wondering if the CR2025 replacement battery maybe doesn't work or is there some other possibilities. Any ideas appreciated..thanks!

If you use power from wall socket and it still does not work, the problem is not from your battery. Does FF, Rev work? Also try change different tapes to see if the problem is still there.
