A friend of mine gave me this tv a few days ago,the problem is when i hit the on switch i hear a click and the red crt gets a redish arc inside the lower part of tube...the other two tubes do nothing. I've found two caps that may be bad C800 and C801..but i'm not sure if they are relivant to this problem. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If the tube is arcing internaly then it's bad

ok...but would that keep the rest of the tv from coming on?..i have no sound ...nothin...i would think that the other 2 tubes would come on atleast.
