OK I know its probably a stupid question...but our gas got turned off because we missed the payment.. and it will be a few days before it gets turned back on, but I noticed the water is still getting warm. I guess the water that was already warm in the hot water heater will stay warm until used or after a day or so or ?
Do I have enough hot water for a shower or 2?
don't rake me over the coals too much guys, thanks...

Hi,

You sure you have a gas water heater?? ;)

**I guess the water that was already warm in the hot water heater will stay warm until used or after a day or so or ?**

The water heater is insulated...but staying warm without the heater working is strange...without using hot water, it is possible to hold it's warmth for a day or two.

**Do I have enough hot water for a shower or 2?**

If the gas has been off for a few days, I doubt it
