I know McCuLLocH Chain saws are not made any more. I have an Old Mac 10, serial number 6000160, another number below that is 13-138314. This saw has been passed from Dad to his Dad, and back down to me. Over the years the little slide part and screw that tightens the chainsaw blade was lost. This saw runs like a swiss clock, and I refuse to discard it over a tiny part, that someone may have, or know how to get. It's only problem is keeping the chain tight. Any suggestions, assistiance, would be appreciated. I may be contacted at GodsBeast@cox.net
Thanks in advance.

A google found this. They have a chain adjuster listed for the minimac 100 and 300 if that is your saw.

Just look up McCulloch parts on www.google.com and you should be able to find it.

McCulloch is piss poor to deal with and is basically washed up as you alluded to :(.
