Greetings! Last year I installed 3 skylights in a top floor bedroom where the wall in the inside is the roof on the outside...must have been a success because no leaking for 15+ months. Now I am ready to finish the inside wall/roof, but I'm not sure what to use to finish the shallow "well"...it's about 6 inches deep, and I'm plaster veneering the wall around the skylight. I don't want a "frame" look, like a regular window, but I'm not sure how to approach this since I'm not using straight sheetrock. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Can you post pictures for us to see on a website like Yahoo or Angelfire and give us the URL to that site? It would sure help!

If you don't want to use trim to 'picture frame' the opening in the ceiling, maybe you could bullnose the corners.

lefty--

 Thanks for following up with me...I'm not sure I can get a picture on here, and it seems I must not be explaining myself correctly. At this point the wall/roof consists of studs and insulation, with a skylight inserted between the studs...there's no wall covering yet. I need to figure out how to "finish" the skylight/wall connection (window well?) if I use a plaster veneer system for the wall. Any ideas how to finish the space between the skylight and wall, essentially parallel to the stud?
