I would like to replace an existing double hung, double wide window with set of french doors to open onto the deck.

The current window is set in a "bay" so it extends from the side of the house by about 6". The entire bay is siding, while the remainder of the exterior wall is brick.

Any suggestions or problems to watch out for?
