Which one is better? Fundamentally, if both doors are made with the exact materials and craftsmanship, which type of architecture is the better preformer? In regards to environment shielding, wear-n-tear, strength??? My guess is that swinging doors are better because of the mechanics. Am I wrong?

I wouldn't say that one is better than the other. It's more a matter of personal preference.

Coin toss. Your call as to preference.

For many years it is a coin toss but the track and rollers on a slider do wear more with constant use than the hinged.

Still a coin toss. A $10 snap cap and $20 for rollers every 15 to 20 years, or $30 for a new lockset and deadbolt every 15 to 20 years. Either type has some parts that are going to wear out.

Yep.
For instance, Andersen sliders or French doors have the exact same warranty...20 years, and the exact same no-leak guarantee...60 mph (but actually built not to leak with over 100 mph wind and rain) and the exact same glass options.
Toss, as stated.
