Just curious about spacing between planks, (not t&g) I think I saw something said about the width of a putty knife, does this sound right or should I just but them tight ?
Thanks

Without tongue & groove, you will need some space for expansion. Make sure you acclimate (let adjust) the wood to the temperature and humidity of your home for several days before installation. HVAC system should be running and temperature and humidity at occupancy levels.
