My husband and I have been installing bamboo flooring in our home. We will be doing three types of installation. First over tile, then over wood subfloor the third over terrazzo. My guestion is when wer installed over the tile w putan underlayment to help with the sound and uneven floor. Bostik's site recommended the painters tape, but we also were told about the clamping method. We opted for tape.
Bottomline we hve one place where the floor drifted apart and before we noticed we could not move it. Gaps will be infront of the kitchen sink and that concerns me. What can we use to fill the gaps with out making the floor look bad. It is quite striking.
