My home is wood and stucco. I want to repaint my home. I am going to power wash my stucco first, and caulk and patch any areas that need it where the wood is. What type of paint do I use acrylic latex exterior paint? Should I prime first?

Thanks for the help.

Kathy:) :p

Priming can make a difference if the old paint is worn out or there will be a big change in the color. Tinting the primer toward the finish color will help with the finish color if the change is extreme. Unless there will be unpainted or unprimed material involved, I would be inclined to apply paint over the old paint.

Be sure to wash the wood, too. Exterior acrylic latex paint of good quality is a excellent choice.
