I have a triple wide mobilehome. Would like to paint over the vinyl covered wallboard in the kitchen. Wallboard is white background with blue flower design. Can anyone give me any ideas?

Most likely you can just primmer and then paint away! :D
It shouldnt give you a problem if its what im thinking it is.You might ask at the paint store to be sure.

Prime it like crazy and you should be fine. My mother-in-law had the same stuff (kind of like paneling?) in her hallway and she primed and then painted it 2 coats of high-quality paint. Hasn't had a problem.
Good luck!
(By the way, my maiden name is Blevins!)

Clean the surface thoroughly with mineral spirits or TSP or such, prime with something along the lines of Zinsser 123, then paint.
