Now I am pretty sure I can tackle the replacement with vinyl windows myself but how much should I be paying if I need someone to cap the outside of the new windows?

What kind of siding do you have? What kind of windows do you presently have? What kind of climate are you in?

The house is brick exterior all around, current windows have aluminum track, single glass, wood, and on the outside, aluminum storm and screens. I am in Illinois, read somewhere else that one person paid $50 per window but I do not know if that is high or low.

The norm here in my area is around $40 an opening, that takes care of mat. and labor.
