My research tends to reveal that Murphy's Oil or citrus oil-based cleaners are not recommended for poly finishes. Poly should not be waxed or cleaned with cleaners that contains waxes or oils. The claim is that these will soften and dull finishes over time and possibly contaminate surfaces and create adhesion problems when it comes time to refinish.
