hvacman,
Attaching a shower door assembly to a glass block unit is not feasible without installing some type of metal jamb that would be sturdy enough to handle thw weight. Of course, this depends on the door width. I have seen shower doors attached to glass block by attaching anhors to the glass block mortar joints areas only. Unfortunately on shower door assemblies, the holes are already pre-drilled as to where the anchors would be placed. You could alter location and get plastic plugs to cover these holes.
