This is my first posting on this forum, although I use the electric one quite frequently.
I am having my floors refinished next week and was told to use 2 coats of oil based poly. What is your recommendation?? Floor is premium grade oak, no knots, about 40 year old wood in perfect condition. Carpet was previously installed over this floor, and I pulled all staples out by hand. Floor guy is going to trowel fill. Floor is on my upstairs, steps included, so traffic will be moderate to heavy. Thank you...

use three if you're concerned about the wear but two is plenty:cool:
