The concrete block foundation around my garage has some "erosion." There are some pitted areas where the block is worn up to 1 inch deep or so and there are other areas where the mortar between the blocks is gone.

There is no stuctural damage to the garage and nothing appears to be shifting or anything like that.

What I would like is some advice on how to repair the damaged areas (how to clean the surface and what to apply). I have been told to dig deeper to expose more of the foundation and apply "fiberbond" (no too sure if that is a brand name or a type of product).

Thanks for your time.

Hi,

I guess you need first to know why this problem happened. Sometimes you don't see the damage, but the damage exists.

I suggest calling a Pro to check what is going on, and with an accurate diagnostic, we'll be able to help you

Best,
