I have tan vinyl siding on my house. I have one spot where there is a hole about the size of a nickel. I don't have any additional siding to replace it with. I'm getting the house ready to sell and this hole is right by the front dooor. Any suggestions on how I can repair this? Even if it's just a cosmetic fix, it will look better than it does now.
Thanks for the help!

Maybe check out the siding installers in town and go by and get a scrap from them. Cut the scrap to match the hole. Glue another strip on the inside of the vinyl and glue the scrap onto the strip. If you are lucky you might be able to find some caulk that matches to neaten up the edges.
Hope this helps.

Chris has a pretty good idea I think. the single piece with the hole can be replaced by it's self, however it'll be hard to match exactly due to weathering. Some of the manufacturers have instructional manuals online that will show you how to do it.

Good luck.
