I bought some 12 x 12 mirror tiles and had planned to frame them and hang them above my fireplace....BUT I can't find 12 x 12 frames!! I know square frames are hard to come by but I haven't even found one!!

Any suggestions?

I have considered making some w/molding but I really want them hanging before the Easter holiday and w/work I'm not sure when I'd have the time. I also don't want to spend a ton of money having them specially made. (wow-I'm expecting a lot!!)

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Gia

12" X 12" is not a stock size picture frame. Some framing shops may sell metal frames in stock cut sizes so that you can buy all 12" pieces and assemble your 12" X 12" frame.

Stop by your local hardware store, see if they could cut them down to fit in, perhaps, an 8 x 10 frame.

FYI, had an old wood window sash with six panes.

- remove old glass
- clean and paint it
- insert mirror with points, NO GLAZING
- hang window with mirror on wall
Looks great, even reflects a window on the opposite side of room, thus adding additional light during the day and it looks like another window.
