I recently bought a second ha d headboard and night stand for by teenage daughter. It is painted that soft white/pinkish color and she would like to strip it and have it back to the natural color of wicker. Any suggestions on how to do that without ruining the wicker?

Stripping wicker (or rattan) is a job best left to a pro shop. It can be done at home, but the best way is with a 'flow-over' system utilized by pros.

Any stripper will remove the paint without harming the wicker itself. But getting ALL the paint out of the weave is a tedious and time consuming project - hence the suggestion to give it to a pro to do it for you.
