Please settle an argument between my buddy & myself.
We're talking about 250cc 4-stroke Enduro's.
I say that replacing the drive sprocket with a larger one will give you more freeway speed-yeah, sure you loose bottom end, but we ride more streets than dirt, I also think its easier to go back if I'm going on the trails.
My buddy says increase the size of the rear sprocket for more freeway speed and swapping back is a piece of cake.
Who's right or the least wrong?

Thanks in advance,
Gordon

We have always replaced the rear wheel sprocket, but when we do it most of the time we are going down in gearing instead of up. Either sprocket would work. Swapping the rear sprocket would be just a little bit easier than swapping the front on.
