Two questions on the basement bath that can be seen here:
home.mn.rr.com/dtro/basement.jpg
1. The builder had the bath stubbed out with drains. Can I assume that all the proper venting (gas) is done?
2. As you can see the run for the exhaust fan out the bedroom side is approx 20 ft. Is there a formula for calculating what size fan I need for size of bath with that 20 ft run?
Thanks

dtro,
Unable to open you picture so can't answer your question but in general, most drains if stubbed in for basement baths are done close to vertical lines - within 5 feet? What do you ahve running close? You may want to post this question in the plumbing section for their advice.
An exhaust fan for 20 feet will require a large CFM unit, any way you can vent this outside to a closer location? You may want to send an e-mail or call the manufacturer's for their advice on size.

http://www.efi.org/products/ventilat/ventline.html (This is spendy but does work great for distances and for no noise to contend with! Just a home yesterday, it is located 35 feet away from bathroom and venting was done with PVC piping.)
Hope this helps!

Sorry, the URL has been updated. I think that the 20 ft is the shortest run.
I'll check more into the vent.
