I would like to know some technical details about a central AC I purchased. The unit has little or no details on it.
Question:
1) How can I tell if the unit is a 3 tonn unit?
1b) Model Number reads NAC036AKA Serial # L022904963
2) Description on it say "Arcoaire Ten" ie. it comes with a sticky label to put on the side. No descriptions printed on the unit.-odd!
3)Does this unit have a scroll compressor ?
4) How good is the noise rating? This looks like a 10 seer unit.
5) where can I get comparision reviews on the product. I have tried the web site and it says little.
6) is this unit the same as the base Keepright unit?
Your reply is appreciated.
Thanks

Yes you have a three ton unit as evidenced by the 036 in the model number. If the unit has been installed recently, you should be able to get the comparison information you requested from the installer. If not, go to www.arcoaire.com, click on dealer resources and enter your zip code to find the distributor nearest to you and ask them for the information.

It is a 10 SEER and it does have ascroll compressor and yes it could be Keepright unit........because Keepright and Arcoaire are manufacured at the same plant in Lewisburg, TN by the same people International Comfort Products and the nosie rating on a 10 SEER "NAC" with a five year compressor warranty is 84 - 86 db
