the pull string on my mower is really hard to pull to get it started, so much so that last nite I pulled the handle off! I did fix the handle problem but how, where and with what do I use to ease up the string,I would like to try and fix this before I pull my shoulder out of it's socket Please Help!!My arm is killing me!

What kind of mower, brand of engine, and model#? There are several possibilities, like blade brake not disengaging, sheared flywheel key, loose blade, etc...
