We're moving, and in the area where we're going there are tons of manufactured/modular homes with great acreage at really affordable prices. The problem is - I don't really like the look of these homes. I was wondering if it's feasible to put a thin brick facade on them. I'm not sure what the exterior is made of - they all seem to be sort of white and shiny - and I'm wondering if it can support brick without major work having to be done. I'm picturing one of these houses ending up looking like a nice brick rambler. Is this possible? Thanks!

Hi,
To apply brick or stone, you need to know first if the house's foundation is ready to support the weight.
Perhaps you can improve the appearance with stucco. You will find lots of resources for a DIY project at HD or other hardware store.
Hope this helps,
