I have a 5 HP B&S Scooter. It acts as if it is out of timming by poping through the carb and jerking on acceleration, It will smooth out at speed but every acceleration is the same.
There is no way to adjust the timming on this and I am at a loss as to how to fix it.
Can someone give me some Idea what can be the prob?
Thankx Astivus

Try adjusting the fuel needle screw(s) and see if it will run better.

Yes, you may need to back out the air-fuel mixture screw 1/4 turn or so...or you may have a partially sheared flywheel key.
