I'm replacing the ceramic tile in a bathroom. I've broken out the old tile and have started trying to remove the old adhesive. I've been scraping it with a floor scaper and chiseling at it with a maul and chisel, but it's pretty slow and painstaking work. Is there an easier way to remove it (solvents, sanding, atomic bombs, etc.)?
How necessary is it to remove all of it?
Thanks in advance for your advice.
