I want to put a tin ceiling over an existing acoustic tile ceiling. I think the tiles are mounted on wood slats. Could I use a nail gun to attach the tin? Is there any other way to do this? How difficult is this project?

Tin tiles use a special head brad. A nail gun(i have expertise on them) may punch right through the tin.
Maybe a light brad nailer???
