We are redoing our bathroom walls and getting an insert for our tub and wall area - we took down the old wallboard that was on the walls, patched up the drywall and are priming the walls so we can put up wallpaper - the corners of the drywall have gaps - do we fill these with a silicone caulk of some sort or do you have any suggestions. We will be sizing over the primer to help the wallpaper adhere to the walls - seems like a lot of work for a small room but it's just so outdated and needs the work. Any suggestions?

If the continuity and smoothness of the surface is of no concern, then you could caulk the corner joints in the wall board. Then prime with pva primer.
