Need some help here. I put in a shower over the weekend, the style with the wall panel that gets glued to the wall. In a nutshell, I screwed it up, and need to remove the wall panel (1-piece). It was glued on with Liquid Nails, and has finished and painted drywall underneath it.
Will I be able to peel the panel off the wall without screwing up the drywall? Anything I can do to ease the removal of it?
Appreciate any help!

Liquid Nails?
You're probably going to have to rip out the whole wall and start over.
You should be using water-resistant board instead of regular drywall, also.
Good Luck!

I thought as much, with the Liquid Nails. And I was so proud of how good the drywalling turned out, too!
On that aspect, I was told that drywall was OK to use behind this type of shower wall. Just be sure the primer is for bathroom use. Are there different opinions on this? If I have to redo the wall, I want to make sure I use the right stuff.
Thanks!

For long term, follow Old Guy's direction and use Durock boards.
Regular sheetrock is very susceptible to moisture.
Also, pls use drywall screws instead of 'liquid nail' garbage.

Is the Durock the same as greenboard, or is it the cement board? If it's the cement board, do the seams get taped and mudded to the existing drywall as if it were drywall?
The Liquid Nails was used to bond the shower wall panel to the wall, screws were used to attach the drywall to the studs.
Thanks!
