I am putting in a new toilet in my basement. The floor is cement.
I am afraid I may have two problems.
First, the cement is uneven (raised all around about 1/2 inch) around the drain. How do I level it and do I need to?
Secondly, the gap around the drain is about 3/4 inch. How will I be able to secure the flange.
Also, the drain is pertruding out of the floor about six inches. It has not been cut off yet. Do I cut this off flush with the floor, above the floor, or below the floor?
PLEASE HELP!
