I have ceramic tile on my kitchen floor. It is a solid color. I want to paint a decorative design on it - I do not want to replace it.
Anyone know what to use to paint on tile that will hold up?
Please don't reply with, "I suggest you don't do it"....I know it can be done and I would like replies from ANYONE that has painted on tile only. Thank you.

No previsous experience----
Urethane floor enamels are about as good as they get but getting them to adhear to the ceramic tile is another question. Perhaps a special primer ????

Suggest that you email or phone a paint company not a store,a manufacturer, for a better answer than you will get on any forum.

Before I installed tile, I worked for Glidden Paint, factory store and know that a paint company is the best place to get your question answered

Thanks for all the replies.
I found a polyacrylic top coat that withstands water, scratching, chipping, etc. - that I can use on top of the decorative painting.
