This may sound like a stupid question, but how do you hang up horizontal blinds. We recently got new windows put in and they took down the blinds. Now I'm left with the blinds and all the wall attachments and I have no clue how to hang them up. I appreciate anyone's help.

Most horizontal blinds simply have a left & right bracket with a hinged piece to allow the blind to be inserted and removed from the brackets. Screw them into the sides of the window opening (hinged piece to swing up) insert blind and close hinged piece.

I don't know what you mean "doesn't have sides, just molding". The brackets can be screwed to the inside of the window opening (using the side holes) or to the face of the window (using the back holes). This is all I could tell you. Check a Home Depot to look at a displayed blind or a brochure that might have installation instructions.

If you only have moldings then it sounds like you have outside mount blinds. Installation brackets for outside mounts are attached to window frame or wall. Place the blind above the window where you want to mount it use a carpenters level to make sure it's aligned on both sides. Take a pencil and mark the placement of the brackets. Screw the brackets into the wall and slide the blind into the brackets.
