A flexible collar is used on both the return and supply to make a mechanical break so that vibration from the unit isn't transfered to the ductwwork. Any hard contact points should also be isolated such as the hangers of threaded rods to hand the unit from the rafters, A rubber connector can be used to beak that attachment. Much of the vibration is eliminated using flex duct .
