I would like to hook up a boilermate to my furnace. I don't have a problem with the piping but I do have a problem with connecting to the thermostat on the furnace. Thank you

You will probably need a relay to interface the boilermate with your boiler. If you tell us what fuel you are using and what the make and model of boiler aquastat is, we can tell you what to do.

The fuel is oil and the aquastat is a honeywell . I can't find the model number on the aquastat.Thank you

If the aquastat is an L8124 it will have a high and a low temp setting dials and should have 2 terminals that you will need to wire the second zone. They will be labeled ZR and ZC. If those terminals are there, I will send you a wiring diagram of how to connect the relay. If you do it correctly, you will be able to reduce the low temp setting on on the control to 100 degrees which will save a good amount of oil in the summer. You will need a Honeywell 845 relay too. The rest is just point-to-point wiring.

You can locate the wiring-diagram for the M-H R845A relay in the M-H "on-line" catalog----www.customer.honeywell.com----the diagram shows the connections for both the relay and the Primary O-B control----Good Luck!!!
