I just had a new A/C installed today. I live in Flordia and have a split system. When they were installing the new copper tubing they cut it too short, about 3 inches, and had to solder a three inch piece to make it fit together at the point it hooks into the outside A/C unit.
Will this soldering cause problems of any leaking of the freon that runs through this tubing??
Thanks Arlene

as long as it does not leak, and they pulled a vacuum, there should be no problem, happens all the time.
