I am repainting my bathroom with latex satin paint. I put on the second coat and there are a bunch of tiny bubbles when I rolled that paint onto the walls. What is this caused by and can I avoid this in the future?? Thanks!!!!

I had the same problem the other day. I have never seen it before. I don't know what caused it. The paint had not been shaken for over 48 hours. New 1/4" nap Wooster roller. They stopped forming after about 100 square feet, but the ones that remained left tiny craters. I am goint to try a 3/8" nap roller on the next pass.

Hope this helps.

hi;
I'm not sure if this is your problem, but i live in an older home and the walls are plaster NOT drywall, and sometimes when i paint the gases in the plaster create a bubble. I've seen bubbles 2 feet x 1 foot, All i've ever done, is poke the bubble with a pin and lightly pat it down, sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. They are a real pain in the butt!
hope this helped

I was able to tame my plaster walls by priming with Zinsser 123.
