Painting - i want some caulk with balls:)

i want to here anyones experience in caulking in the shower area in your bathroom.what do you feel is the best caulking.what will hold up best under the constant water and moisture.i remodeled my bathroom,put in a tub surround,caulked with a tub and sink caulking"made for such areas"and im seeing some of the caulking turning from white to yellow in a short period of time.has anyone tried sikaflex,pure white silicone,dap 230. would a good trick be to apply a clear silicone after having put a white on.does a clear not have the yellowing affect as the white?i'm thinking the clear after a white would be the bomb.what do you guys think?
